Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Etor Loureiro got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Baldaliso during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maurica FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Angel Baldaliso hit a great ball. Frantzes Arizabaleta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pueblo Curiel. Maurica FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gomez Cabeza struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Sindo Bierna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maurica FC. The audience was convinced that Balendin Quijano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sindo Bierna was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Maurica FC's Pueblo Curiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Maurica FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Retirada getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lucero Villate hit a great ball. When Balendin Quijano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sindo Bierna was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Retirada's Pio Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pio Montes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pueblo Curiel. Pueblo Curiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pio Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pueblo Curiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Maurica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pio Montes came free, but Pueblo Curiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Corces in the 59th minute of play forced Maurica FC's goalkeeper Pueblo Curiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pio Montes got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pueblo Curiel handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pio Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pueblo Curiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gomez Cabeza hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Retirada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodoro Muzquiz in the 77th minute. After taking down the ball on Retirada's corner Teodoro Muzquiz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pueblo Curiel quite easily take care of the ball. Lucero Villate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maurica FC's Gomez Cabeza got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Marciano Carpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Pio Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pueblo Curiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes, Gomez Cabeza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maurica FC and the Retirada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Maurica FC got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Cabeza. Retirada's Pio Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Retirada booed when Maurica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Baldaliso didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 92nd minute of the match Angel Baldaliso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angel Baldaliso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 93rd match minute, Maurica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Baldaliso to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Muzquiz, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Pio Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maurica FC's Pueblo Curiel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Retirada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maurica FC for a fine match.
