The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Trevijano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Hedesa. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. 32 minutes in the game, Lalla Murcia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Flavio Hedesa having to interfere. Gustau Lazaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haritz Albertos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lalla Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Guarinuma's goalkeeper Flavio Hedesa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rami Cero. Rami Cero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Amo's late challenge caught a Gambo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Amo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guarinuma getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ciriaco Amo hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petrigai Echeverria to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Guarinuma's zone, Lalla Murcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Hedesa came out of the goal and Lalla Murcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ciriaco Amo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Ciriaco Amo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Gambo's Firme Irulegui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Hedesa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 64 minutes, Haritz Albertos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarinuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haritz Albertos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victoriano Monteserin in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustau Lazaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Flavio Hedesa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firme Irulegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Eliazar Frexes's late challenge caught a Gambo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Hedesa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gambo. Flavio Hedesa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firme Irulegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustau Lazaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliazar Frexes in the 89th minute of play. Flavio Hedesa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Firme Irulegui's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, Magdaleno Valcuende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gambo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarinuma the free kick.
