In the 19th minute, Sandaili Guibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Urquicia was the one to do the kick off. Barranca FC's Vellito Rejon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mannuel Sabon in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Barranca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mannuel Sabon came free, but Vellito Rejon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandaili Guibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vellito Rejon having to interfere. If Caradaro Zambranos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nahia Cerdeiras came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Barranca FC's Fernando Urquicia. But to his dismay, Fernando Urquicia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 98th minute, Mannuel Sabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
