The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aparicio FC's Marques Rilo got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Palomar was a little too slow when Marques Rilo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Efrain Ocharan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Navarrete, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Esteban Pariente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Justino Navarrete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Ocharan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Taria's Justino Navarrete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Ocharan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralondo Catiti during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Taria's Ralondo Catiti got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Marques Rilo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Palomar. Ralondo Catiti kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Damian Lumbreras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Marques Rilo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Gustavo Guixe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Pariente in the 44th minute of play forced Aparicio FC's goalkeeper Efrain Ocharan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Lumbreras to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Marques Rilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aparicio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marques Rilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Palomar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 57 minutes, Damian Lumbreras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aparicio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Lumbreras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Lumbreras took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Palomar. Danilo Palomar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Esteban Pariente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Taria's Justino Navarrete slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Ocharan. That made the score 3-2 after 66 minutes of play. Damian Lumbreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marques Rilo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Danilo Palomar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aparicio FC. Marques Rilo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Marques Rilo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Palomar was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Danilo Palomar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Lumbreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Navarrete kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aparicio FC.
