Galácticos F.C.'s Paulino Mogrovejo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Mogrovejo in the 13th minute of play forced Macuayita FC's goalkeeper Mateo Mutiloa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Mutiloa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xamin Viña in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Galácticos F.C.'s Paulino Mogrovejo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Macuayita FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Juan-Carlos Meca hit a great ball. Xamin Viña in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mateo Mutiloa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xamin Viña who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Mateo Mutiloa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Mateo Mutiloa managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Galácticos F.C.'s Xamin Viña fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the game, Eleder Callon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galácticos F.C.'s Modesto Albornoz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Xamin Viña got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 37 minutes into the match, Macuayita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Mogrovejo came free, but Mateo Mutiloa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Paulino Mogrovejo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mateo Mutiloa to make any attempt to save it. Xamin Viña who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Mateo Mutiloa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute of the match, Paulino Mogrovejo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mateo Mutiloa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Inacio Maysonet hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan-Carlos Meca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Txema Ruicerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inko Mir made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Inacio Maysonet sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Mogrovejo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Mutiloa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Macuayita FC defense, Xamin Viña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Mutiloa. The Macuayita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Mutiloa should have stopped the shot. Paulino Mogrovejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Mutiloa having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Hug Villaverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Uriondo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Macuayita FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Florencio Uriondo hit a great ball. Xamin Viña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Macuayita FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleder Callon. 82 minutes into the game, Galácticos F.C.'s Paulino Mogrovejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Mutiloa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 87th minute, Beti Avendaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Xamin Viña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Mutiloa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galácticos F.C. had played much better football throughout.
