It was a penalty for Club Mercedes! Jan Koller received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caitano Sandin came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Koller slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Celso Galdamiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caitano Sandin. That made the score 3-0 in the 11 minute of play. Club Mercedes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Jan Koller scored to the left of an out of position Caitano Sandin, making the score, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Koller got free with Caitano Sandin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Jan Koller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Caitano Sandin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Club Mercedes defense, Jan Koller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caitano Sandin. The Club Mercedes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caitano Sandin should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Jan Koller got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 30 minutes, Xzaiver Bradi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Mercedes and the Deportivo Ortegano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Mercedes's Xzaiver Bradi got a free kick in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jan Koller took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Caitano Sandin to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Koller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caitano Sandin. That made the score 9-0 in the 42 minute of play. When Jan Koller came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Koller couldn't finish the play. Jan Koller in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caitano Sandin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Caitano Sandin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Koller's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Mercedes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Koller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Deportivo Ortegano's Orland Uceda was substituted for Jan Koller. Deportivo Ortegano's Arboleda Galdia was substituted for Celso Galdamiz. Caitano Sandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arboleda Galdia, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Arboleda Galdia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caitano Sandin was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The Deportivo Ortegano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Cristiano De La Iglesia hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Tomasz Bambas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Mercedes's Caitano Sandin didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Orland Uceda put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Caitano Sandin. There was no doubt that Deportivo Ortegano were the better team. Deportivo Ortegano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
