Alberto Pierson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Downey in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Greenwood Lake FC booed when The Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Van Chapman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef LeBlanc in the 8th minute of play forced The Knights's goalkeeper Gerald Bonner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Tobias Clifford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Pierson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef LeBlanc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gerald Bonner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef LeBlanc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerald Bonner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Josef LeBlanc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gerald Bonner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Pierson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Downey, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alberto Pierson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rex Calderwood in the 29th minute of the match. Tobias Clifford struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Alberto Pierson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Knights. Josef LeBlanc might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerald Bonner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef LeBlanc ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Pierson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Rudd in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alberto Pierson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Clifford in the 52nd minute of play. The nice shot from Rudy Rudd in the 54thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alberto Pierson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Dylan Beltran lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Greenwood Lake FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave The Knights a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Devin Combs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Greenwood Lake FC's Alberto Pierson. 0-1. In the 62nd minute, Rudy Rudd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Pierson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Greenwood Lake FC's Alberto Pierson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Clifford in the 67th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Greenwood Lake FC got a freekick which was hit by Josef LeBlanc. In the 70th minute of the match, Tobias Clifford tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberto Pierson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alberto Pierson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Downey, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alberto Pierson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rex Calderwood in the 76th minute. Rudy Rudd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to The Knights getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Abdul Heath hit a great ball. The Greenwood Lake FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Knights's performance. The match ended with a win for The Knights.
