An unexpectedly hard shot by Oren Stein in the 10th minute of play forced The Knights's goalkeeper Gerald Bonner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyrus Sullivan got free with Gerald Bonner in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cyrus Sullivan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Winfred Akins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Clifford, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Central Gardens AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. David Baxter hit a great ball. Rudy Rudd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Rudd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winfred Akins having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Central Gardens AFC's Oren Stein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerald Bonner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cyrus Sullivan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gerald Bonner made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bennett Murphy during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bennett Murphy kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Bennett Murphy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerald Bonner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, The Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Oren Stein came free, but Gerald Bonner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Oren Stein recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerald Bonner. Oren Stein showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Clifford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tobias Clifford came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the The Knights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Clifford couldn't finish the play. Winfred Akins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudy Rudd in the 61st minute. Gerald Bonner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oren Stein in the 63rd minute of play. Winfred Akins made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Rudy Rudd sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Oren Stein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Bonner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oren Stein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the game, Central Gardens AFC's Oren Stein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerald Bonner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gerald Bonner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oren Stein in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Cyrus Sullivan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudy Rudd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Winfred Akins. That made the score 3-1 in the 96 minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Central Gardens AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Knights had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
