The supporters of Dwight booed when RIVERSIDE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary Boyd didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sol Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reed Laird charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reed Laird the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Reed Laird hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wendell Stallings was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Jacob Brower capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacob Brower really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 15th minute Sol Salter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wendell Stallings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Sheldon in the 20th minute of the match. RIVERSIDE F.C.'s Wendell Stallings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Sheldon in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Darell Clements hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Daren Christian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wendell Stallings skillfully saved the ball. When Jacob Brower came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Dwight fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Brower couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Jacob Brower recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wendell Stallings. Jacob Brower showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 43rd minute of the match, Jacob Brower tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wendell Stallings saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Sol Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Brower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Wendell Stallings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacob Brower to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dwight's zone, Sol Salter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Slaughter came out of the goal and Sol Salter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Woodrow Summers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sol Salter in the 61st minute of play forced Dwight's goalkeeper Ryan Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sol Salter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ryan Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sol Salter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Dwight's Jacob Brower sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wendell Stallings narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robbie Sheldon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wendell Stallings having to interfere. Jacob Brower struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Wendell Stallings didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dwight. If Robbie Sheldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryan Slaughter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Salter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92ndth minute of the game Robbie Sheldon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIVERSIDE F.C.'s Wendell Stallings was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
