The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dwight's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Ramon Haynes scored to the left of an out of position Ryan Slaughter, making the score, 1-0. Ramon Haynes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ryan Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Asoc. de Futbol Argentino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Stuart McNally hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 16th minute when Robbie Sheldon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Robbie Sheldon notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Asoc. de Futbol Argentino's Thad Hess. Thad Hess was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Brower in the 27th minute of play forced Asoc. de Futbol Argentino's goalkeeper Thad Hess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Stuart McNally made a precise shot to the right of Thad Hess. Asoc. de Futbol Argentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A collision led to Dwight getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lee Fountain hit a great ball. Ramon Haynes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thad Hess showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart McNally, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Ramon Haynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Haynes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ryan Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Dwight were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramon Haynes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Lee Fountain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dwight and the Asoc. de Futbol Argentino players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Lee Fountain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Ramon Haynes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Asoc. de Futbol Argentino's Ramon Haynes got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaiah McKay struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ryan Slaughter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asoc. de Futbol Argentino. When Stuart McNally fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dwight's protests and gave Stuart McNally a yellow card for diving instead. Stuart McNally kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Robbie Sheldon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Robbie Sheldon came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Dwight fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbie Sheldon couldn't finish the play. Thad Hess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Brower in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Ramon Haynes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lee Fountain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Thad Hess made a huge save. Dwight's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
