One of Mono Vista AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dyer AFC:s goal. Tyron Vera walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Glenn Singh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Burch in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Dyer AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Phil Mott hit a great ball. Chase Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
