With a little luck, RXVII's Randell Cottrell got control of the ball when Sebastian Crum tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garth Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Welch having to interfere. Roosevelt Fritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Todd Welch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Sebastian Crum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roessleville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Crum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, RXVII's Junior Laird got a free kick in the 20th minute. Garth Edwards received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Todd Welch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Devine struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Todd Welch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RXVII. In the 28th minute, Roosevelt Clifford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by J.P. Gustafson from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Randell Cottrell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 33rd minute of the match, Karl Bishop tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Randell Cottrell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 39 minutes, Florian Devine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RXVII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Devine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, RXVII's Junior Laird got a free kick in the 41st minute. John Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl Bishop made a kick off. Todd Welch made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Florian Devine sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roessleville FC's goalkeeper Todd Welch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Todd Welch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Devine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Randell Cottrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Crum went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Garth Edwards received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Todd Welch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Devine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Todd Welch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Randell Cottrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Bishop's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Florian Devine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Roessleville FC's John Clayton got a free kick in the 76th minute. Florian Devine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Devine might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Todd Welch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Devine ran back to his position shaking his head. Florian Devine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roosevelt Fritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Todd Welch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Roessleville FC's zone, Florian Devine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Todd Welch came out of the goal and Florian Devine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roosevelt Fritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Todd Welch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Roessleville FC were victorious despite being under pressure from RXVII for much of the match.
