Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karl Bishop kicked off to start the match. Sebastian Crum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerard Roth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Bo Currie kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Sebastian Crum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gerard Roth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Karl Bishop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Roth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Gerard Roth managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Roessleville FC's Karl Bishop fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Todd Welch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennett Pulliam in the 25th minute of play. Roessleville FC's Todd Welch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennett Pulliam in the 28th minute of play. Russell Garrison took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Todd Welch. Todd Welch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Roessleville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bennett Pulliam came free, but Todd Welch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, J.P. Gustafson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roessleville FC and the Lucas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, J.P. Gustafson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Bishop got free with Gerard Roth in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl Bishop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Crum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gerard Roth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sebastian Crum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Lucas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bennett Pulliam to make the kick off. The supporters of Roessleville FC booed when Lucas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathon Crabtree didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas's Gerard Roth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Crum in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Roessleville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bennett Pulliam came free, but Todd Welch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Roth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Bishop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todd Welch had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bennett Pulliam from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Sebastian Crum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bennett Pulliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Bishop in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerard Roth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 93 minutes, Russell Garrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Russell Garrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Crum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerard Roth was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The Roessleville FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lucas's performance. The match ended with a win for Lucas.
