Brendan Connolly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee ignored Putney FC's protests and gave Sidney Nelson a yellow card for diving instead. Brendan Connolly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danial Blalock, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Putney FC's Marc Clancy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Stahl in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
