Stevens Point AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gunston Fc the free kick. Stevens Point AFC's Abdul Shoemaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Pool in the 16th minute of play. Oliver Pool fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdul Shoemaker having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Glenn Quinones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunston Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Glenn Quinones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdul Shoemaker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glenn Quinones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdul Shoemaker having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Oliver Pool made the kick off in the second half. Abdul Shoemaker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Pool's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Gregg Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Stevens Point AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregg Rosa couldn't finish the play. After 60 played minutes Stevens Point AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brendon Spaulding. When Glenn Quinones came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Gunston Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glenn Quinones couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Pool in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdul Shoemaker saved Stevens Point AFC from getting behind. After having played for 65 minutes, Solomon Shah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stevens Point AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Solomon Shah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Yost scored 0-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdul Shoemaker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 0-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Oliver Pool elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Denis Yost fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gunston Fc's protests and gave Denis Yost a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Denis Yost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdul Shoemaker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tyrell Ennis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 80 minute of play. After 84 played minutes Stevens Point AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brendon Spaulding. After a defensive mix-up in Stevens Point AFC's zone, Glenn Quinones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdul Shoemaker came out of the goal and Glenn Quinones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnathan Huang hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Abdul Shoemaker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Quinones in the 95th minute. The Stevens Point AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gunston Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
