A collision led to North Caldwell getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hector Cedillo hit a great ball. When Anastasio Iigo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Daren Fujieda was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Sung Nunez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANADA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sung Nunez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 played minutes North Caldwell got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Melendez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Iigo in the 21st minute of play forced North Caldwell's goalkeeper Daren Fujieda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Iigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daren Fujieda was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 26thth minute of the game Anastasio Iigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Caldwell's Daren Fujieda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daren Fujieda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Iigo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Sung Nunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Iigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daren Fujieda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Iigo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Seth Rector hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, North Caldwell's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Iigo came free, but Daren Fujieda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daren Fujieda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With his leg Daren Fujieda managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when CANADA's Chance Mims fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to North Caldwell getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marty Ware hit a great ball. With a little luck, North Caldwell's Daren Fujieda got control of the ball when Sung Nunez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Iigo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, North Caldwell's Hank Creech got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Taylor Newcomb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daren Fujieda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, CANADA's Anastasio Iigo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daren Fujieda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Anastasio Iigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daren Fujieda was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Melendez during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. CANADA:s Brice Judd showed great skill when he stopped Del Cates:s penalty. Brice Judd was a little too slow when Marty Ware got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-1. Daren Fujieda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of CANADA booed when North Caldwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Rector didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Iigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daren Fujieda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Iigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daren Fujieda was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Daren Fujieda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, North Caldwell's goal looked a bit too open when Sung Nunez came free, but Daren Fujieda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anastasio Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daren Fujieda having to interfere. After some careless play in the North Caldwell defense, Anastasio Iigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daren Fujieda. The North Caldwell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daren Fujieda should have stopped the shot. CANADA's Brice Judd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save CANADA from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CANADA had played much better football throughout.
