Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglas Howell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Seth Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sal Clemons, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Seth Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sal Clemons's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Wesley Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hicksville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Galindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Werner Metcalf hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Seth Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Howell's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sal Clemons in the 32nd minute of play forced Hicksville's goalkeeper Seth Roman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seth Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Howell in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Minneapolis's Douglas Howell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seth Roman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Sal Clemons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Werner Metcalf during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Werner Metcalf hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Jarrett Vickers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Parker Arroyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Duane Brownell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Galindo in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Hicksville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warren Painter to maneuver through the defense. Colby Pennington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Seth Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Sal Clemons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Seth Roman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sal Clemons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Sal Clemons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minneapolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Sal Clemons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Roman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Parker Arroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minneapolis's Duane Brownell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parker Arroyo in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Minneapolis got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Hopson. Wesley Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Duane Brownell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Parker Arroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Wesley Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Wesley Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hicksville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Galindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Minneapolis players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
