Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dalton Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hicksville's goalkeeper Seth Roman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dalton Beck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Seth Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Parker Arroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hicksville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Parker Arroyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seth Roman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalton Beck's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Travis Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Roman having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Parker Arroyo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Travis Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goodview's supporters crossed their fingers, but Travis Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Parker Arroyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Reaves having to interfere. Dalton Beck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Roman having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Dalton Beck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Parker Arroyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ryan Reaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Goodview getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tracy Roark hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Travis Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goodview's supporters rose to their feet, but Travis Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Roman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Travis Coyle did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Seth Roman 83 minutes into the match. If Parker Arroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Goodview getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Avery Camacho hit a great ball. Parker Arroyo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ryan Reaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hicksville. After having played for 96 minutes, Wesley Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hicksville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Galindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Hicksville supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Goodview's performance. The match ended with a win for Goodview.
