Sidney Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mervin Salazar in the 28th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Alistair Meredith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Melton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mervin Salazar made a kick off. The supporters of Warren FC booed when Sioux City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elton Anthony didn't get a good kick on the ball.
