Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The nice shot from Geraldo Raymond in the 3rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rob Ferris had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Tory Vance came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Oregon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tory Vance couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Anna's zone, Jeremy Mayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sherwood Mims came out of the goal and Jeremy Mayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oregon FC's Rob Ferris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colby Epps in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Scot Richard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sherwood Mims was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Anna's Sherwood Mims played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scot Richard in the 30th minute of play. Rob Ferris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colby Epps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Scot Richard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sherwood Mims saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Scot Richard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oregon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Scot Richard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sherwood Mims breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraldo Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremy Mayo made a kick off. Geraldo Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Ferris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geraldo Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. Anna's Colby Epps got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Scot Richard came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Oregon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scot Richard couldn't finish the play. In the 60thth minute of the game Jeremy Mayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anna's Sherwood Mims was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anna's Sherwood Mims proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Anna from getting a goal against them. Rob Ferris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colby Epps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Shelton Rushing came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Oregon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shelton Rushing couldn't finish the play. Stephan Lott kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Jeremy Mayo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Anna's Sherwood Mims. Sherwood Mims was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the game, Oregon FC's Scot Richard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sherwood Mims made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Geraldo Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Anna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Raymond couldn't finish the play. Colby Epps's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Ferris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Geraldo Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Oregon FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
