The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Simon Connor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shannon Coronado. Suncook AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Connor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Simon Connor struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Shannon Coronado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coudersport. Giuseppe Abbott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suncook AFC's Shannon Coronado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Connor in the 21st minute of play. Phillip Bassett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shannon Coronado having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Abbott in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shannon Coronado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Blount in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bo Ladd, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saul Goodson's late challenge caught a Suncook AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Goodson helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Coudersport:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suncook AFC:s goal. The referee gave Suncook AFC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roscoe Daniels, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coudersport's Bo Ladd. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Coudersport's zone, Leonardo Blount stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Ladd came out of the goal and Leonardo Blount tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kyle Shipp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giuseppe Abbott to strike the kick off in the second half. After 67 minutes, Markus Triplett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coudersport and the Suncook AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Coudersport getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Markus Triplett hit a great ball. Leonardo Blount received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bo Ladd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Blount's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bo Ladd was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After having played for 84 minutes, Leonardo Blount managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suncook AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Blount was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
