Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonard Connors kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the game, Joseph Hooper recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Davis Conklin. Joseph Hooper showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Brice Johnston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Conklin having to interfere. Fred Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Conklin having to interfere. Cloverleaf's Fred Chen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Joseph Hooper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Joseph Hooper fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Davis Conklin, passed just outside the right post. When Fred Chen came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cloverleaf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Chen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lewiston AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leonard Connors hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Hooper to make the kick off. Joseph Hooper struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Davis Conklin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloverleaf. Fred Chen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Davis Conklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Joseph Hooper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davis Conklin was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Joseph Hooper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brice Johnston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davis Conklin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cloverleaf's Rolland Farmer got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Fred Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davis Conklin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cloverleaf booed when Lewiston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monte Pepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Hooper in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davis Conklin saved Lewiston AFC from getting behind. Fred Chen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Joseph Hooper made a precise shot to the right of Davis Conklin. Lewiston AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 82nd minute, Joseph Hooper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloverleaf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
