Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Herrington kicked off to start the match. Leo Page received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jason MacDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Von Funk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match, Joseph Hooper tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Marshall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leo Page received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jason MacDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mervin Michel charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mervin Michel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mervin Michel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rolando Marshall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Hooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cloverleaf were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Ayden FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walker Crowley took the corner. The corner led Cloverleaf's Walker Crowley to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Marshall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rolando Marshall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joseph Hooper in the 24th minute. Edgar Herrington charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Herrington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rolando Marshall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Hooper in the 31st minute of play. Jason MacDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Herrington in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cloverleaf's Brice Johnston got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Hooper made a kick off. Joseph Hooper might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Marshall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph Hooper ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fred Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayden FC's goalkeeper Rolando Marshall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Hooper in the 57th minute of play forced Ayden FC's goalkeeper Rolando Marshall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Chen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rolando Marshall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Herrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason MacDonald having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Brice Johnston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 68 in the game by Leo Page from a close distance when the talented Jason MacDonald managed to make a qualified save. Cloverleaf's players were relieved. When Leo Page came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ayden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Page couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Cloverleaf's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Herrington came free, but Jason MacDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgar Herrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Page got free with Jason MacDonald in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ayden FC's Mervin Michel got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Fred Chen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloverleaf's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Chen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Marshall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Fred Chen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ayden FC's Rolando Marshall. Rolando Marshall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ayden FC's zone, Fred Chen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Marshall came out of the goal and Fred Chen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Ayden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kory Fair to maneuver through the defense.
