When Abdul Avila came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Walker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdul Avila couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Shane Simmons had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daren Gordon. Walker's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shane Simmons was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ernest Starks in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daren Gordon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Darrell Womack took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Daren Gordon to make any attempt to save it. When Ernest Starks came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Maumelle FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Starks couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darrell Womack stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Abdul Avila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everett Durham struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Daren Gordon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maumelle FC. Maumelle FC's Shane Simmons got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62ndth minute of the game Darrell Womack who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walker's Daren Gordon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Sidney Burkett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Hairston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Maumelle FC's goalkeeper Jarrett Hairston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdul Avila. Walker's Daren Gordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darrell Womack in the 73rd minute of play. Shane Simmons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daren Gordon having to interfere. If Shane Simmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Baez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daren Gordon having to make a save. In the 80th minute Shane Simmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daren Gordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ernest Starks fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maumelle FC's protests and gave Ernest Starks a yellow card for diving instead. Ernest Starks kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Burkett in the 89th minute of play forced Maumelle FC's goalkeeper Jarrett Hairston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Walker got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Busby. In the 93rd minute, Darrell Womack left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maumelle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Maumelle FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
