Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Doran started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Torres in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Myles Albert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Doran in the 14th minute of play forced Jamesburg AFC's goalkeeper Rodrick Thomason to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Wenatchee FC's goalkeeper Myles Albert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Graig Sampson scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Myles Albert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Doran in the 26th minute of play forced Jamesburg AFC's goalkeeper Rodrick Thomason to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Jamesburg AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wally McCracken to maneuver through the defense. Rodrick Thomason made an important save on a dangerous shot by Drew Bond in the 31st minute. Drew Bonds short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Rodrick Thomason to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jamesburg AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Thomas Doran 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 36 minutes into the game, Erik Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Myles Albert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Myles Albert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Torres in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graig Sampson in the 45th minute of play forced East Wenatchee FC's goalkeeper Myles Albert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamesburg AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Drew Bond scored to the left of an out of position Rodrick Thomason, making the score, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Graig Sampson to make the kick off. Graig Sampson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Myles Albert came out and tried to block the shot, but Graig Sampson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Thomas Doran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Emerson Hampton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Wenatchee FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamesburg AFC the free kick. Emerson Hampton kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, East Wenatchee FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt McCauley to maneuver through the defense. When Jamesburg AFC's Graig Sampson in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Wenatchee FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Thomas Doran sped through Jamesburg AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrick Thomason. Rodrick Thomason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Doran, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Jamesburg AFC's Erik Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Myles Albert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. When Drew Bond came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the East Wenatchee FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew Bond couldn't finish the play. East Wenatchee FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sung Hubbard in the 86th minute. Thomas Doran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Torres struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Myles Albert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamesburg AFC. After a rather tough play, East Wenatchee FC's Matt McCauley got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Erik Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Jamesburg AFC's Graig Sampson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.
