Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leroy Akers kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Trabuco Highlands getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rickey Burke hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Stacy Cowan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stacy Cowan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Ruth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sheldon Fontenot having to make a save. A collision led to Trabuco Highlands getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sheldon Boyce hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Pickett in the 25th minute of play forced Polson's goalkeeper Sheldon Fontenot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sheldon Fontenot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffrey Pickett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mike Slaughter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sheldon Fontenot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffrey Pickett, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Sheldon Boyce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabuco Highlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sheldon Boyce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Polson booed when Trabuco Highlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Benoit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derek Dupre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Geoffrey Pickett made the kick off in the second half. Marquis Darling kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Geoffrey Pickett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Polson's goalkeeper Sheldon Fontenot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Slaughter. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Noah Turner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polson's supporters rose to their feet, but Noah Turner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geoffrey Pickett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sheldon Fontenot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Hans Ruth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Trabuco Highlands's zone, Leroy Akers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Cruz came out of the goal and Leroy Akers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colin Kruse took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Cruz. Jimmy Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jimmy Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Turner in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Trabuco Highlands defense, Leroy Akers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Cruz. The Trabuco Highlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Cruz should have stopped the shot. Geoffrey Pickett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sheldon Fontenot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Polson defense, Geoffrey Pickett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sheldon Fontenot. The Polson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sheldon Fontenot should have stopped the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
