Marcus Hilliard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Whitney Salazar having to interfere. If Deshawn Jacobs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Gant in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brent Graves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robby Cross got free with Whitney Salazar in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Deshawn Jacobs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brent Graves was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Brent Graves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Gant in the 27th minute of the match. If Emery Hartman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Emery Hartman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brent Graves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Eldred FC's German Gant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brent Graves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Deshawn Jacobs might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brent Graves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deshawn Jacobs ran back to his position shaking his head. Brent Graves came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eldred FC's German Gant. But to his dismay, German Gant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Hilliard was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Oswaldo Goldstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. German Gant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Brent Graves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stan Maloney hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The long shot by Abdul Howell in the 64th minute really tested Brent Graves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Deshawn Jacobs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brent Graves. Skyhawk FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deshawn Jacobs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 69th match minute, Eldred FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fletcher Stringer to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Skyhawk FC's Robby Cross sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Whitney Salazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Eldred FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Eldred FC's Deshawn Jacobs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Robby Cross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Hilliard might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Whitney Salazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Hilliard ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Skyhawk FC booed when Eldred FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willie Coronado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Eldred FC's Emery Hartman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brent Graves. Brent Graves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Deshawn Jacobs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Brent Graves made a huge save. German Gant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Brent Graves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Skyhawk FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eldred FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Eldred FC.
