Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Titus Crozier kicked off to start the match. Marcellus Chan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rico Ray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Virgil Jordan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Silver, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Rico Ray made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gregorio Simmons sent off a good shot on target. Virgil Jordan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dustin Silver's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Rico Ray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titus Crozier in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jayhawk AFC's Marcellus Chan got a free kick in the 39th minute. Kurtis Hardy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dustin Silver made a kick off. If Gregorio Simmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Titus Crozier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Ray having to interfere. Virgil Jordan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dustin Silver in the 56th minute of play. Dustin Silver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Virgil Jordan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurtis Hardy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Dubois took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rico Ray. Hawthorne FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Kurtis Hardy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Virgil Jordan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Silver in the 79th minute of play forced Jayhawk AFC's goalkeeper Virgil Jordan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rico Ray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Simmons in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Hawthorne FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Wilton Higgins hit a great ball. Gregorio Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
