Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lanny Munoz took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Milton Busch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cody Kane fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colby's protests and gave Cody Kane a yellow card for diving instead. Cody Kane hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Hunters Creek Village AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Acero came free, but Bob Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnnie Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Bob Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cody Kane in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Hunters Creek Village AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Downs to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Alfonso Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lanny Munoz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Wallace Sousa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Wilfred Barker sent off a good shot on target. Bob Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Alvarez in the 28th minute of play. Milton Busch charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milton Busch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Colby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milton Busch to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Jose Acero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hunters Creek Village AFC the free kick. Bob Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cody Kane, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cody Kane in the 37th minute of play forced Hunters Creek Village AFC's goalkeeper Bob Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfonso Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hunters Creek Village AFC's Lanny Munoz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bob Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. When Alfonso Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Colby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Alvarez couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Larry Hobson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Colby getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alfonso Alvarez hit a great ball. Wilfred Barker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace Sousa having to interfere. Hunters Creek Village AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Alfonso Alvarez scored to the left of an out of position Bob Martinez, making the score, 0-2. A hard shot 76 in the game by Alfonso Alvarez from a close distance when the talented Bob Martinez managed to make a qualified save. Hunters Creek Village AFC's players were relieved. Mario Ciccaglione hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Bob Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Alvarez in the 78th minute of play. Colby's Cody Kane got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Martinez having to interfere. Johnnie Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Hunters Creek Village AFC's goalkeeper Bob Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cody Kane. Colby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
