In the 6thth minute of the game Troy Rivera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monster Kings's Frank Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeffrey Wilson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monster Kings's Graig Ragsdale got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Douglasville AFC's Troy Rivera in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Troy Rivera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Douglasville AFC's Troy Rivera in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Jeffrey Wilson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Frank Salgado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Frank Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Troy Rivera in the 73rd minute. Mario Croft took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Rivera in the 77th minute of play. Frank Salgado stood somewhat misplaced when Troy Rivera came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Frank Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Troy Rivera in the 84th minute of the match. When Darell Barton came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Douglasville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darell Barton couldn't finish the play. Darell Barton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Salgado having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Berry Hood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douglasville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berry Hood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Tory Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Troy Rivera in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frank Salgado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Monster Kings fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Douglasville AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
