The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Essex FC's Willie Cross got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Vance Tucker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Malad City FC's Max Garcia in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Essex FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aldo Addison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Pelletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Bryon Lozano made a huge save. Arthur Baird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Addison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sam Pickett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Max Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sam Pickett was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Sam Pickett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.P. Kyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Stefan Banks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryon Lozano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pelletier in the 56th minute of play forced Malad City FC's goalkeeper Bryon Lozano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Baird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Baird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bryon Lozano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Essex FC's Stefan Banks got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Essex FC's goalkeeper Sam Pickett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Garcia. 68 minutes into the game, Max Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sam Pickett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldo Addison came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sam Pickett could save by the left post. Bryon Lozano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vance Tucker's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Essex FC's goalkeeper Sam Pickett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Garcia. Sam Pickett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.P. Kyle in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Essex FC's Sam Pickett got control of the ball when Aldo Addison tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sam Pickett was a little too slow when Max Garcia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-4. The Malad City FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Malad City FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
