After having played for 33 minutes, Jed Spaulding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jed Spaulding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kraig Lozano made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Johnny Harding made a precise shot to the right of Russ Penn.
