The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Hubbard got free with Ramon Correa in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Chelsea FC's Stewart Jacobs got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Eau Claire United getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Joe Becerra hit a great ball. Ramon Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stewart Jacobs in the 11th minute of play. Carson Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elton Libby having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Hubbard got free with Ramon Correa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Eau Claire United's Simon Flint nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elton Libby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elton Libby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Elton Libby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbie Ortega's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Kermit Swan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Carson Williamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Elton Libby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eau Claire United's Simon Flint got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Chelsea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Gant to maneuver through the defense.

After 52 played minutes Eau Claire United got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Ryan. After 53 played minutes, Chelsea FC's Desmond Quinn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramon Correa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chelsea FC reached it. Ramon Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stewart Jacobs in the 54th minute of play. Ramon Correa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Hubbard in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Elton Libby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Flint. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eau Claire United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
