The Heroes From Yerevan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kory Matlock should have stopped the shot. Heroes From Yerevan's Kory Matlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stewart Jacobs in the 45th minute of play. The referee ignored Chelsea FC's protests and gave Thomas Metcalf a yellow card for diving instead. If Stewart Jacobs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
