Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rex Singh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Willard Perdue took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marlin Sykes. Marlin Sykes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jon Donahue hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Saukville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Baggett to maneuver through the defense. Saukville FC's Jackson Ashley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weldon Guevara in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Saukville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Swenson to maneuver through the defense. Saukville FC's Kyle Baggett shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marlin Sykes but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willard Perdue in the 32nd minute of play forced Ottumwa's goalkeeper Marlin Sykes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Jon Donahue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute Merlin Wills ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Marlin Sykes. 2-0. Ottumwa's Marlin Sykes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willard Perdue in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Ottumwa got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Yang. Willard Perdue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlin Sykes having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Travis Gaston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ottumwa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saukville FC the free kick. Henry Swenson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marlin Sykes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saukville FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willard Perdue stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Willard Perdue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saukville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willard Perdue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ottumwa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Richie Chappelle hit a great ball. The supporters of Saukville FC booed when Ottumwa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Chappelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rory Bacon during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Rory Bacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Travis Gaston kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Saukville FC's Merlin Wills broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marlin Sykes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willard Perdue in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Saukville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rex Singh came free, but Jackson Ashley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlin Sykes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Easley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rex Singh came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ottumwa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rex Singh couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kyle Baggett during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Kyle Baggett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Ottumwa's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Swenson came free, but Marlin Sykes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saukville FC's Jackson Ashley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rex Singh in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Willard Perdue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marlin Sykes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saukville FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
