Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sidney Squires came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Peapack and Gladstone's Jerry Brock. But to his dismay, Jerry Brock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jerry Brock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Powellton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Willis Kauffman came free, but Sidney Squires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Evan Thompson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orville Roman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evan Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Roman having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Evan Thompson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Powellton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evan Thompson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orville Roman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Peapack and Gladstone's zone, Antoine Golden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orville Roman came out of the goal and Antoine Golden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antoine Golden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Quinn Haywood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Peapack and Gladstone's Jerry Brock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Squires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Darell Davila placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Sidney Squires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willis Kauffman in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerry Brock was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Willis Kauffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peapack and Gladstone's supporters rose to their feet, but Willis Kauffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 61st minute Darell Davila managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Powellton AFC's Antoine Golden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orville Roman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Peapack and Gladstone getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. David Cowan hit a great ball. The Powellton AFC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Powellton AFC's Antoine Golden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evan Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Roman having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Willis Kauffman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sidney Squires was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jerry Brock showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 79 minute of play. In the 83rd minute Antoine Golden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orville Roman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoine Golden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Powellton AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Douglas Reece hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
