Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglass Glenn started the match with the kick off. Hugo Bingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirby Naylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglass Glenn in the 5th minute of the match. Andre Wilcox hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Lance Staley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tory McCord, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Tory McCord managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Puente Valley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tory McCord was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. West Puente Valley's Tory McCord got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Tory McCord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Staley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kirby Naylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglass Glenn in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Lech Poznań booed when West Puente Valley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blair Garland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerrod Sams took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lance Staley. Lech Poznań's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Terrence Epps's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Lance Staley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Randy Pope hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Tory McCord ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lance Staley was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 41 minutes into the game, Douglass Glenn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lech Poznań's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Puente Valley the free kick. Terrence Epps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tory McCord to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Tory McCord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Staley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, West Puente Valley's Terrence Epps got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Romeo Rosenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Lech Poznań's Andre Wilcox in action when he in the 62nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Hugo Bingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Randy Pope was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lech Poznań's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Puente Valley the free kick. Terrence Epps recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tory McCord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglass Glenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Naylor having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, West Puente Valley's goal looked a bit too open when Douglass Glenn came free, but Kirby Naylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Tory McCord who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lech Poznań's Lance Staley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Douglass Glenn struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kirby Naylor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lech Poznań. West Puente Valley were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lech Poznań for a fine match.
