After a rather tough play, América de Cali's Davis Carlos got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Nicholas Winter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Young Fletcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to América de Cali getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Manuel Roe hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, América de Cali's Derrick Todd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 38th match minute, Steeleville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Cullen to maneuver through the defense. Young Fletcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Nicholas Winter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Phillip Grimes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in América de Cali's zone, Nicholas Winter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phillip Grimes came out of the goal and Nicholas Winter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicholas Winter to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Nicholas Winter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steeleville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicholas Winter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Grimes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicholas Winter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Phillip Grimes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Young Fletcher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steeleville AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 62nd minute, Eddie Robertson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Steeleville AFC were awarded a corner. Milo Saunders went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Steeleville AFC's Milo Saunders to fire away a dangerous shot which Phillip Grimes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 66 played minutes América de Cali got a freekick which was hit by Johnathan Weaver. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steeleville AFC's goalkeeper Christopher Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christopher Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davis Carlos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Winter in the 75th minute of play forced América de Cali's goalkeeper Phillip Grimes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, América de Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Barrett to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Steeleville AFC's Young Fletcher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phillip Grimes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Eddie Robertson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Steeleville AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
