Randolph Stewart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wood having to interfere. Ward Simons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vamala F.C's zone, Adrian Burt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Gauthier came out of the goal and Adrian Burt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascal Gauthier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Burt's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Chris Pack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vamala F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glenside the free kick. The supporters of Glenside booed when Vamala F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Pack didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vamala F.C's Pascal Gauthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Burt in the 27th minute of play. When Bradly Roark fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vamala F.C's protests and gave Bradly Roark a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Vamala F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradly Roark to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Burt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vamala F.C's Pascal Gauthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Simons in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Glenside's Adrian Burt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascal Gauthier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Chris Pack ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Wood was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ricky Pierce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pascal Gauthier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Burt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vamala F.C getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Eliseo Mohr hit a great ball. In the 49th minute of the match Kyle Shaw shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascal Gauthier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Glenside were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Adrian Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Pack in the 60th minute of play forced Glenside's goalkeeper Patrick Wood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ward Simons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Burt in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pascal Gauthier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Patrick Wood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randolph Stewart in the 72nd minute of play. Chris Pack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wood having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Ward Simons dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pascal Gauthier, 1-3. Pascal Gauthier made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Adrian Burt sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Ward Simons dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pascal Gauthier, 1-4. Vamala F.C's Pascal Gauthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Simons in the 96th minute of play. After 99 played minutes Glenside got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Dotson.
