Green Turtles's supporters rose to their feet, but Dallas Duncan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Russo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dallas Duncan struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alfred Russo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Turtles. Ervin Woodall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alfred Russo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Dallas Duncan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Green Turtles's Robbie Vogel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Dallas Duncan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Faulk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Somerset defense, Dallas Duncan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred Russo. The Somerset fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Russo should have stopped the shot.

Dallas Duncan charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dallas Duncan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
