Stan Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Presley went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Keith Cash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocco Osborn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Marsh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Alejandro Marsh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rocco Osborn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maumee FC's Keith Cash got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wixom FC's goalkeeper Stan Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maumee FC's Keith Cash got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Wixom FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilbert Higgins. If Keith Cash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stan Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Fay in the 25th minute of play. Keith Cash in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stan Ferreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Renaldo McMahon came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Maumee FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renaldo McMahon couldn't finish the play. Keith Cash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Ferreira having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stan Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Keith Cash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renaldo McMahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darnell Cannon to make the kick off. Stan Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Cash, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Maumee FC booed when Wixom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colby Hays didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wixom FC's goalkeeper Stan Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Cash in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stan Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Presley in the 71st minute of play forced Wixom FC's goalkeeper Stan Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Cash in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stan Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stan Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Presley, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Keith Cash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match Ari Townsend sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stan Ferreira skillfully saved the ball. The Maumee FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Maumee FC's Keith Cash looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 94 minutes into the match, Wixom FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Presley came free, but Stan Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wixom FC's Stan Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith Cash in the 96th minute of play. Maumee FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
