Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sherwood Malloy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Henry Overton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reynoldsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Overton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Overton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wilton Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Henry Overton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilton Cortez. San Francisco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Overton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 10 minutes, Sherwood Malloy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Francisco and the Reynoldsburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes San Francisco got a freekick which was hit by Sherwood Malloy. In the 32nd minute, Wilford Lowe made a precise shot to the right of Milton Huber. Reynoldsburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Foster Light had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Foster Light kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilton Cortez. That made the score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, San Francisco's goal looked a bit too open when Foster Light came free, but Wilton Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The wind increased when Foster Light made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Bradshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Huber having to interfere. Wilton Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Overton in the 53rd minute of the match. The long shot by King Kirkpatrick in the 55th minute really tested Milton Huber's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Foster Light fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Cortez having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Henry Overton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Rudy Cooley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reynoldsburg and the San Francisco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Reynoldsburg got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Cooley. Rich Grubb hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Foster Light sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Foster Light managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reynoldsburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Foster Light was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilton Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foster Light, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foster Light fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Cortez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Reynoldsburg's zone, Wilford Lowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milton Huber came out of the goal and Wilford Lowe tried to chip the ball over his head.
