Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rudy Cooley started the match with the kick off. United G.G's Vincent Hanley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save United G.G from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tad Lowry in the 4th minute of play forced Reynoldsburg's goalkeeper Milton Huber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Hanley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Cooley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes United G.G got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Bolton. Vincent Hanley acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Owen Hamilton. Vincent Hanley made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Foster Light sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 17 minutes, Everett Downs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. United G.G's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everett Downs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynoldsburg's Wayne Clayton suffered a sore foot after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Anthony Herrera fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored United G.G's protests and gave Anthony Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, United G.G's Anthony Herrera got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tad Lowry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Milton Huber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Foster Light got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rudy Cooleys short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Vincent Hanley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to United G.G getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tad Lowry hit a great ball. Foster Light received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vincent Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Foster Light came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Reynoldsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Foster Light couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes United G.G got a freekick which was hit by Norman Lofton. In the 43rd minute, Tyson Clement hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rudy Cooley came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Reynoldsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Cooley couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Reynoldsburg booed when United G.G was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everett Downs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tyson Clement sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Reynoldsburg's Milton Huber didn't even have to move. After 54 played minutes Reynoldsburg got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Cooley. After a defensive mix-up in Reynoldsburg's zone, Tad Lowry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milton Huber came out of the goal and Tad Lowry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes Reynoldsburg got a freekick which was hit by Corey Darby. After 64 minutes of play, Reynoldsburg's Foster Light made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Hanley was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes United G.G got a freekick which was hit by Tyson Clement. Reynoldsburg's Milton Huber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Downs in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Reynoldsburg's zone, Tad Lowry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milton Huber came out of the goal and Tad Lowry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. United G.G's Marc Felton got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everett Downs in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milton Huber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, United G.G's Marc Felton got a free kick in the 88th minute. Foster Light fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Hanley having to interfere. If Emerson Hutchins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynoldsburg's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
