The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Windsor Hills FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Santos came free, but Jim Sloan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Windsor Hills FC's goalkeeper Jim Sloan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odell Ames. With an all-out effort, London FC's Jim Sloan threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcus Santos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Jim Sloan managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when London FC's Odell Ames fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the match, Windsor Hills FC's goalkeeper Jim Sloan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odell Ames. Carlo Beasley kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, London FC's Virgil Harman got a free kick in the 14th minute. Odell Ames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Sloan having to interfere. Marcus Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jim Sloan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyle Reilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Kincaid, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Odell Ames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. London FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odell Ames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Windsor Hills FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Windsor Hills FC's Homer Walsh looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Santos to make the kick off. Jim Sloan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odell Ames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Sloan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when London FC's Odell Ames shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The London FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when London FC's Marcus Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ronny Kincaid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Lyle Reilly made a huge save. Scot Ruff charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Scot Ruff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Scot Ruff kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Windsor Hills FC's Jospeh Connolly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for London FC. Marcus Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Odell Ames ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Sloan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Windsor Hills FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for London FC.
