Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when DeMarcus Orlinsky took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Sol Richards managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester Red Bull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sol Richards was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Derick Elliot came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Manchester Red Bull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derick Elliot couldn't finish the play. Sol Richards who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Eusebio McGill when he managed to save the team from getting behind. DeMarcus Orlinsky took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristofer Bacon. Kristofer Bacon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Morgan Fitzpatrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sol Richards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 27 in the game by Sol Richards from a close distance when the talented Eusebio McGill managed to make a qualified save. Crew SC's players were relieved. Manchester Red Bull's Derick Elliot got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Crew SC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrone Yang. Eusebio McGill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derick Elliot, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Manchester Red Bull's Sol Richards got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Manchester Red Bull's Eusebio McGill threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Derick Elliot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Manchester Red Bull getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ulysses Russo hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Derick Elliot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio McGill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crew SC's Tyrone Yang got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Manchester Red Bull players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crew SC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derick Elliot was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Crew SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by DeMarcus Orlinsky to maneuver through the defense. DeMarcus Orlinsky blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristofer Bacon having to make a save. Crew SC's Eusebio McGill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sol Richards in the 64th minute of play. When Ulysses Russo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester Red Bull's protests and gave Ulysses Russo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Manchester Red Bull's Ulysses Russo got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Derick Elliot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crew SC's Eusebio McGill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sol Richards blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio McGill having to make a save. After 86 played minutes Manchester Red Bull got a freekick which was hit by Sol Richards. Sol Richards scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio McGill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Spencer Doyle hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to Manchester Red Bull getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ulysses Russo hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Crew SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
