If Byron Winn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Joseph Tilley notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sawmills's Sylvester Peters. Sylvester Peters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Byron Winn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sylvester Peters having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Tilley in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylvester Peters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sylvester Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Tilley in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Joseph Tilley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvester Peters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byron Winn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvester Peters having to interfere. Sylvester Peters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Tilley, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Sawmills defense, Joseph Tilley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylvester Peters. The Sawmills fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylvester Peters should have stopped the shot. Ned Weeks kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gabriel Vincent struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Willy Warren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sawmills. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Vincent to make the kick off. Franklin English received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sylvester Peters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ned Weeks kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Plantation FC's Joseph Tilley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylvester Peters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The supporters of Plantation FC booed when Sawmills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 69 in the game by Joseph Tilley from a close distance when the talented Sylvester Peters managed to make a qualified save. Sawmills's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Plantation FC defense, Ross McKinnon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willy Warren. The Plantation FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willy Warren should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Joseph Tilley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sawmills's Sylvester Peters got control of the ball when Joseph Tilley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sylvester Peters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eldon Schmitt in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Sawmills's goalkeeper Sylvester Peters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Tilley. 92 minutes into the match, Plantation FC's Jared Alston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylvester Peters narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
