Boyce Thomson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute Jeremiah McClain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Parr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Bonita's Jeremiah McClain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lamar Parr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Boyce Thomson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lamar Parr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Jonah Rasmussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but DeAndre Scott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boyce Thomson got free with Lamar Parr in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lamar Parr came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Bonita's Jeremiah McClain. But to his dismay, Jeremiah McClain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jeff Goins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Saunders struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. DeAndre Scott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL. In the 31st minute of the match Shayne Kelley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but DeAndre Scott showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. DeAndre Scott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Gillespie in the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's zone, Boyce Thomson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamar Parr came out of the goal and Boyce Thomson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Boyce Thomson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonita's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyce Thomson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lamar Parr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Jeff Goins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lamar Parr. The goal made the score 4-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Jeff Goins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Goins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lamar Parr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddy Scruggs in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boyce Thomson to strike the kick off in the second half. Teddy Scruggs hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Lamar Parr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyce Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Boyce Thomson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Parr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremiah McClain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Parr having to interfere. After 69 played minutes SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL got a freekick which was hit by Val Bartley. Jeff Goins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Goins in the 74th minute of play forced SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's goalkeeper Lamar Parr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Roman Saunders took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for DeAndre Scott to make any attempt to save it. If Boyce Thomson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Jeff Goins made a precise shot to the right of Lamar Parr. SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Boyce Thomson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lamar Parr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Boyce Thomson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lamar Parr was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. If Jeremiah McClain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bonita had played much better football throughout.
