Edgardo Dooley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dana Robison in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dana Robison in the 12th minute of play forced Meecastle United's goalkeeper Edgardo Dooley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Dana Robison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Dooley was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Solomon Hutchinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Edgardo Dooley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky Sierra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dana Robison struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Edgardo Dooley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dillonvale FC. After having played for 31 minutes, Dana Robison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dillonvale FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dana Robison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnathan Maxwell got free with Weldon Lawler in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Dana Robison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Dooley was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Johnathan Maxwell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Weldon Lawler made a huge save. A collision led to Meecastle United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eusebio Lake hit a great ball. The Dillonvale FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Dillonvale FC's Dana Robison looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Dillonvale FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dana Robison's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Edgardo Dooley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Weldon Lawler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Sierra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Sheldon kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ricky Sierra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weldon Lawler. Dillonvale FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricky Sierra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Weldon Lawler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Lake in the 69th minute of the match. With his leg Edgardo Dooley managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Dillonvale FC's Dana Robison fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Keenan Beal hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Meecastle United's goalkeeper Edgardo Dooley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Albrecht. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Domingo Sheldon put in a rough tackle. In the 83rd minute, Domingo Sheldon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Weldon Lawler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregg Talbot, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Solomon Hutchinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Dooley having to interfere. Shane Emerson struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Edgardo Dooley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dillonvale FC. Dillonvale FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
