Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Glen Lentz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip Wolff during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Alvin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Philip Wolff. After a rather tough play, Alvin AFC's Philip Wolff got a free kick in the 6th minute. Wolf Lake's Antonio Talbot couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alvin AFC. Trevor Kincaid kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mike Key showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt Meredith in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Wolf Lake booed when Alvin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathanial Barker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alvin AFC's zone, Matt Meredith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Key came out of the goal and Matt Meredith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Cristopher Boyles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Antonio Talbot sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alvin AFC's Mike Key didn't even have to move. 26 minutes into the game, Cristopher Boyles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvin AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolf Lake the free kick. Cristopher Boyles kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Matt Meredith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolf Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Meredith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matt Meredith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Key having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Wolf Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roscoe Long to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes, Logan Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvin AFC and the Wolf Lake players grew even worse after the yellow card. Logan Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Antonio Talbot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Willis Dozier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolf Lake's supporters rose to their feet, but Willis Dozier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Key breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Glen Lentz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvin AFC's protests and gave Glen Lentz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Alvin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Lentz to maneuver through the defense. Wolf Lake's Antonio Talbot shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mike Key but with some difficulty. Mike Key stood somewhat misplaced when Matt Meredith came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 59 minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benny Britton during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Wolf Lake getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Benny Britton hit a great ball. Travis Hawley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matt Meredith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mike Key tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wolf Lake's Willis Dozier in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvin AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Glen Lentz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Alvin AFC's goalkeeper Mike Key had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matt Meredith. If Travis Hawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matt Meredith's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Mike Key skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alvin AFC's Cristopher Boyles got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Wolf Lake's Willis Dozier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Key narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Willis Dozier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mike Key was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Alvin AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lorenzo Dickson hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wolf Lake eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
