The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernest Nickerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Bobby Pierce kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Saks defense, Norman Draper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Nickerson. The Saks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Nickerson should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norman Draper in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Nickerson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Flint Ratliff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saks and the Roma AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flint Ratliff kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Zachary Macias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Nickerson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Lewis Cameron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roma AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Cameron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Nickerson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Roma AFC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Roma AFC's Lewis Cameron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norman Draper in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Nickerson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flint Ratliff was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 32nd match minute, Saks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flint Ratliff to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rdth minute of the game Lewis Cameron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saks's Ernest Nickerson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Saks:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roma AFC:s goal. The referee gave Roma AFC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lewis Cameron, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Saks's Ernest Nickerson. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

53 minutes into the match, Roma AFC's Norman Draper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Nickerson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lewis Cameron had several of the Saks's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Ernest Nickerson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ernest Nickerson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Draper in the 63rd minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Lewis Cameron made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Saks's Ernest Nickerson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saks's Ernest Nickerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Draper in the 72nd minute of play. Zachary Macias might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Nickerson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachary Macias ran back to his position shaking his head. Saks's Ernest Nickerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Draper in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lewis Cameron got free with Ernest Nickerson in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lewis Camerons short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Ernest Nickerson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Roma AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Norman Draper hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Norman Draper dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernest Nickerson, 0-7. With his leg Ernest Nickerson managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Roma AFC's Lewis Cameron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Draper in the 89th minute of play forced Saks's goalkeeper Ernest Nickerson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernest Nickerson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman Draper's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Norman Draper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ernest Nickerson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roma AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
